Biography

Singer/Songwriter, Lennox "Buppy" Brown, born in Port Antonio, Jamaica had his first musical experience accompanying his father, a well- known saxophone player, to rehearsals and live performances which fueled his passion to entertain people.
His repertoire consists of the universal reggae styles: dancehall, roots and culture, lover's rock, jungle, Dance and calypso. He's been consistently capturing audiences in some of the hottest nightspots in southern California, including, Hollywood Park Casino, Barfly, Hollywood Highlands, Galaxy Theatre, Club Moomba and 14 Below. He also participates in annual events and charities like "Best Buddies of California" for the deaf and disabled, a tribute to Dennis Brown, the Prince of Reggae, "Cuts for Kids", for Big Brothers, "A Taste of the Nation" benefit for the homeless at Universal Studios.
With his rapid-fire lyrics and charismatic stage presence, Buppy's infectious reggae styles have also captivated audiences in Chicago, New York, Miami and Europe, garnering him critical acclaim in the Chicago Tribune and a growing fan base across the country. Buppy's compositions can be heard on the soundtrack of "BLADE 2" and in major motion pictures as well as independent films all from his independently done CD titled "Bupatak". Buppy is a straightforward man with a positive and righteous energy, whose messages and sty[e uplift the soul, inspire the mind and calm the spirit.
